Hi, I'm Chelsey. I am a Provisionally Registered Psychologist completing my supervised practice at Dragonfly. I am currently supervised by Melissa Foster, one of the Registered Psychologists at Dragonfly.

I have always known I wanted to work with people and help people. Over the years, that calling has grown into a passion for walking alongside clients as they discover their strengths, accomplish their goals, and recognize their successes. I find it incredibly meaningful to witness those moments when a client recognizes their own resilience and starts to believe in the possibilities ahead.

My path into psychology has been shaped by my own experiences. I come from a background in collegiate hockey, where the drive to constantly perform, improve, and push beyond limits was a daily expectation. Balancing training, academics, family, friendships, and relationships eventually led me to question my next steps, and trying to figure out what was next. That experience helped me recognize how many women face similar pressures—both from within themselves and from the world around them.

We live in a culture that often glorifies perfection, yet perfection is unattainable. Navigating the weight of expectations—your own and those of others—can be overwhelming. My approach is about creating a supportive space where clients can pause, reflect, and begin to rediscover balance, heal from their past, and begin to discover themselves and the life they want to lead. I believe that even in the most difficult seasons, there is room for growth, healing, and resilience.

I am trauma-trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have a particular focus on supporting clients working through trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and life transitions. I also have a passion for working with teens and young adults, who are navigating identity, relationships, and the pressures of an ever-changing world. My goal is always to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward the life they envision.

As a provisional psychologist, I feel privileged to walk alongside clients who are seeking to better understand their strengths, build confidence, and move toward becoming the best version of themselves.
"I have always known I would be in the helping profession from a young age. I wasn’t sure exactly what that would look like, but as time has passed, I have found exactly what my calling is. Helping to guide women to see their strengths has been something that inspires me and motivates me to help others. I am in awe of the strength and desire of those who I am privileged enough to work with and find such encouragement when my clients also see that glimmer of success and greatness."
