"I believe that as a Psychologist it is my role
to walk alongside you and support you
through whatever challenges you may face.
We all stand together in the same messy, unpredictable, and sometimes chaotic life,
and we need a safe place to explore what
we are experiencing without judgment
or disapproval. My goal in therapy is to
help people achieve new awareness
and insight into their situations.
I hope that with new awareness and insight
you will be able to gain a new more empowering perspective
on what you’re facing."
Navigating through childhood as a girl is challenging.
I remember feeling a lot of pressure trying to meet everyone’s expectations of me.
No matter how many achievements I had, I never felt like I was living up to the perfect standard.

Attempting to seamlessly balance school, sports, appearances, and relationships can easily take a toll on young women’s overall well-being. It feels like the more we try to meet these unrealistic ideals, the more we lose our true identity.
It was not until I met with a Psychologist that I started to gain insight into the unique challenges women face. This insight allowed me to confront the values that were no longer serving me, and redefine my own success in a healthier more compassionate way. During a time when I was feeling lost and overwhelmed, speaking to someone about my struggles helped reignite my confidence and conviction in myself.
It was these experiences which inevitably led to my own career as a Psychologist. My hope is that I can use the challenges I faced growing up to support other girls and women going through their own struggles. I am passionate about challenging norms that no longer serve girls and women, and breaking down barriers that are preventing them from living the lives they truly deserve.

I want to help each person I meet realize their unique and personal potential to overcome adversity. I believe my role is to help inspire self-acceptance and growth in my clients by providing them with hope and encouragement to overcome whatever obstacles they may face.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, family and relationship conflict, and challenges in parenting. I will work with children, adolescents, and adults either individually, in a family setting, or through couples counselling. I use an integrated approach when working with individuals, which includes Attachment Theory, Systemic Approaches, Narrative Therapy, Art therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, I am trained in EMDR for those dealing with trauma.
