Support for Navigating Relationships

Build healthier connections—starting with yourself...

At Dragonfly, our therapists offer a real, down-to-earth space where you can be yourself — no judgment, no pressure. We focus on building a relationship based on trust and meeting you where you’re at, so you feel truly heard and supported from the very first session.

Are you feeling stuck in a pattern that doesn’t feel right?

Do you find yourself questioning your relationships—wondering if you're asking for too much or not enough?  Maybe you often feel like you're giving more than you're getting, or you second-guess your worth when someone pulls away.  Perhaps you keep choosing people who aren’t truly there for you, or you struggle to set boundaries and speak up for your needs.

You may feel exhausted by the push-pull dynamic in dating, or drained by the pressure to be

the “fixer” in friendships and family. Even in a long-term relationship, you might feel lonely, unseen, or misunderstood.

Relationship struggles don’t always come with a clear label. But they can take a serious toll

on your mental and emotional well-being.

Whether it’s romantic, platonic, family, or work-related—unhealthy dynamics can make you

feel anxious, resentful, or disconnected. And if you’ve been through difficult relationships in

the past, it can be hard to trust yourself or others going forward.

You may be looking for more clarity, more confidence, or just a way to feel more grounded in your relationships.

The good news is, things can shift.  And therapy can help.

You're not the only one...

Many women struggle with relationships—especially when they’ve grown up learning to prioritize others' needs over their own.

People-pleasing, perfectionism, or a fear of being “too much” can keep you stuck in cycles that are hard to break.  You might feel like you’re the only one who doesn’t have it figured out—but the truth is, many women wrestle with boundaries, emotional safety, or healthy communication. Social media, cultural expectations, and past relational trauma can all play a role in how you show up (or hide) in connection with others.

It makes sense if relationships feel overwhelming or even unsafe sometimes. But that doesn’t mean you’re broken.

In fact, recognizing these patterns is a powerful first step.

With the right support, you can begin to understand your relationship habits, heal old wounds, and create healthier connections moving forward.

Therapy can help you feel more empowered and less reactive in relationships

At Dragonfly, we specialize in working with women who are navigating the messy, meaningful terrain of relationships.

Therapy offers a compassionate space to untangle what’s happening in your relationships—without judgment.

Our therapists help you explore your relationship history, identify harmful patterns, and understand

how past experiences may still be shaping your current dynamics.  We’ll work together to clarify

what you actually want from relationships—not what others expect of you. You’ll begin to recognize

red flags, build better boundaries, and learn how to communicate with more honesty and

confidence.

Depending on your needs, therapy may focus on:

  • Healing from people-pleasing or codependency

  • Rebuilding trust after betrayal or emotional harm

  • Understanding attachment patterns (like anxious or avoidant tendencies)

  • Navigating breakups or relationship transitions (romantic and friendships)

  • Strengthening your sense of self in connection with others

Our team specializes in supporting women through complex emotional challenges. Whether you’re dating, married, single, or somewhere in between, you deserve relationships that feel respectful, reciprocal, and real.

Therapy can help you stop second-guessing yourself and start creating relationships that feel safe and satisfying.

You deserve relationships that support your growth, not shrink you.

Our therapists understand the emotional labor women often carry—and how past experiences can shape present struggles. We bring deep insight, nonjudgmental support, and practical tools that help you move forward, not just reflect on the past.

Our approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. You don’t need to perform or prove anything here. Just come as you are—and we’ll help you figure out what you need, what’s worth fighting for, and how to connect without losing yourself.

Let’s start with a free 20-minute phone consult.

No pressure, no commitment—just a chance to talk, ask questions, and see if we’re the right fit for you.

But Have Some Questions...

What kinds of relationship issues do you help with?

We support women navigating a wide range of relationship dynamics—including romantic partnerships, friendships, family conflict, workplace relationships, and even your relationship with yourself. Whether you're struggling with communication, setting boundaries, dealing with a breakup, or feeling stuck in a pattern that keeps repeating, we’re here to help you gain clarity and move forward.

Do I need to be in a relationship to benefit from therapy?

Not at all.  Many women come to therapy to explore past relationship patterns, heal from previous experiences, or prepare for healthier connections in the future. Relationship-focused therapy can help you grow your self-awareness, trust your intuition, and improve how you relate to others—regardless of your current relationship status. And we can focus on friendships too!

Can therapy help if I’m unsure whether to stay or leave a relationship?

Yes. Many women come to therapy feeling uncertain about a current relationship. We won’t tell you what to do—but we will help you sort through your thoughts, feelings, fears, and values. Therapy can offer a safe space to reflect, gain perspective, and ultimately make decisions that feel aligned with your well-being.

What if I’m the only one who wants to work on the relationship?

That’s okay. Individual therapy can still be incredibly effective even if your partner, friend, or family member isn’t involved. By working on your part of the dynamic—setting boundaries, managing reactions, or changing unhelpful patterns—you can often shift the overall relationship or gain clarity about your needs.
