Therapy for Women
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
At Dragonfly, we specialize in supporting women through anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, managing relationships, and life transitions (and more). Our therapists offer a real, down-to-earth space where you can be yourself — no judgment, no pressure. We focus on building a relationship based on trust and meeting you where you’re at, so you feel truly heard and supported from the very first session.
Are You Feeling Overwhelmed, Disconnected, or Just Not Like Yourself?
Maybe you’ve been pushing through for a while—juggling work, relationships, responsibilities—while quietly feeling anxious, burnt out, or emotionally exhausted. You might find yourself stuck in self-doubt, feeling like you’re not doing “enough,” or wondering why things that used to feel manageable now feel overwhelming.
Perhaps you’ve experienced a breakup, a loss, a trauma, or a major life shift that’s left you questioning everything. Or maybe it’s nothing you can name exactly—you just feel off, like you’ve lost touch with who you are and aren't sure how to get back.
You might be wondering:
-
Why am I so hard on myself?
-
Why do I feel anxious or low even when things look fine?
-
Will I ever feel confident, calm, or in control again?
You don't have to feel this way. And the truth is—therapy can help.
With the right support, you can reconnect with yourself,
feel more grounded, and begin to feel like you again.

You're Not Alone - Many Women Feel This Way
At some point, most women feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they are. Whether it is due to unrealistic expectations, the weight of being "everything to everyone", or people pleasing patterns that feel impossible to break, the mental load can become too much to carry alone.
The journey through adulthood for women can be a difficult one. Trying to figure out who you are, how you fit in to this world, and what you want out of life can be simply confusing. Navigating relationships & friendships, figuring out a career path, balancing new found independence, and perhaps starting a family of your own, tend to be big pieces of the puzzle at this stage of life. That is A LOT of pressure!

Many of our clients come to us feeling like they "should" have it together but don’t.
They second-guess themselves, feel emotionally stuck, or carry hidden wounds from the past.
These feelings are not a personal failure.
They’re signs that you’ve been doing your best under difficult circumstances—
and that something inside you is asking for care and attention.
The good news?
With the support of a skilled, compassionate therapist, you don’t have to keep carrying it all on your own.
Therapy can help you heal, gain clarity, and move forward with more confidence, calm, and self-compassion.

But Have Some Questions...
I’ve been feeling overwhelmed, but I don’t even know how to explain what’s wrong.
That’s okay. You don’t have to have the words. A big part of therapy is figuring it out together. You’re allowed to show up exactly as you are—confused, tired, messy, uncertain. You certainly won’t be judged for it.
I feel like I’m supposed to “have it all together” as a woman. Is it okay to ask for help?
Yes. So many women carry the weight of high expectations—being strong, capable, and emotionally steady for everyone else. Therapy is a space where you get to be supported. You don’t have to do it all alone.
I feel like my problems aren’t “serious enough” for therapy. Should I still come?
Absolutely. There’s no “right” reason to come to therapy. If something is affecting your well-being, your confidence, or your daily life—even in small ways—it’s worth talking about. You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support.
How do I know if I’m choosing the right therapist?
You’ll get a feel for it over time, but the first session is a good place to start. We welcome questions and encourage open communication—your comfort is a top priority. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, we’ll help you find someone who is.
You Deserve Support That's Real, Relatable, and Respectful
You don’t need to keep pushing through, pretending you’re okay, or figuring it all out on your own.
Therapy is a place where you can pause, breathe, and just be—without judgment or pressure.
Our female psychologists understand the unique challenges women face.
We’re here to support you through it all—with warmth, honesty, and real connection.
